(313)     Memorandum that the 11.th January One Thousand Seven
             hundred Twenty Eight the above Deed was Acknowledged
             before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices
             of the provinciall Court According to Law

                Recorded y.e 18.th January 1728         Benj.a Tasker

                                    Know all men by these presents that we
                                 Edward Henry Calvert Esq.r Comissary General
                             Benedict Leonard Calvert Esq.r and Benjamin Tasker of
                           the City of Annapolis Gent are holden and firmly
                        Bound unto the Right Honouraable Charles Absolute
                     Lord and proprietary of the province of Maryland &c
                  In the full and just sume of One Thousand pounds Current
             Money to be paid to his said Lordship his heirs & successors
             To the which payment well & truly to be made We bind
             Our selves and Every of us Our and Every of our heirs Executors
             and Administrators jointly and severally for the
             Whole and in the Whole firmly by these presents sealed
             with Our Seales and Dated the 11.th Day of February in
             the fourteenth year of his Lordships Dominion &c Annoq
             Dom 1728


                The Condition of the above written Obligation is
             Such that if the above bound Edward Henry Calvert whilst
             He shall Continue in the Office of Commissary Generall shall
             at his Own proper Cost and Charge find a supply of Good and
             sufficient Record Books necessary for the Entring up of
             all Matters & things relateing to such Commissarys Officer &
             shall Duly and Carefully look after preserve and maintain all
             the severall Books of Records now being and remaining in
             the said Office as also those that from time to time shall
             be added thereto in such Manner as that when he shall be
             Dismissed from Officiating Longer in the said Office shall
             Deliver all the aforesaid Records to the next person that succeeds
             in the said Office in Good Order and Repair according
             To the True Intent and Meaning of the Act of Assembly
