(307) x.d This Indenture made the Eleventh day
of July Anno Domini seventeen hundred and twenty Eight Between Elizabeth Welsh of the County of Ann Arundell in the Province of Maryland widdow and Rich.d Welsh of the said County and Province Planter of the one part and Dan.ll Maud & Samuel Hewet of the City of London in the Kingdom of Great Brittain Merchants of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Elizabeth Welsh ^ and Richard Walsh^ for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fourty pounds fifteen Shill and three pence Sterl Money to them in hand paid by the said Dan.ll Maud and Samuell Hewet at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge & thereof and of every part and parcell thereof do acquit Exonerate & Discharge the said Daniel Maud and Samuel Hewet their heirs Executors and Administrators and Every of them by these presents Have Granted bargained & sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto the said Dan.ll Maud and Sam.ll Hewet all that fifty one Acres of Land whereon the said Elizabeth Welsh and Rich.d Welsh now Live & scituate lying and being in the County afd at the South East Corner of his Lordships Mannor of Ann Arundell and to the westward of a Branch Called the Bever Dam branch the said fifty ^one^ acres of Land Begining at a Locust post standing in the east south Line of a tract of Land Called Burrages Blossom and runing thence South One hundred sixteen perches thence south seventy deg.s East Sixty two perches to a Corner of the orchard then North sixty one deg.s East thirty six perches to a pair tree at an other Corner of the orchard then North twenty deg.s East one hundred and five perches untill it Intersects the Given Line of the whole tract at a great Poplar in a branch thence with the said Given Line to the begining Containing fifty one acres Together w.th all houses out houses buildings fences orchards gardens Timber Timber trees ways Easments profits and appurtenances to the said fifty one Acres of Land belonging or in any wise Appertaining and alsoe all the Estate Right tittle Interest property Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Eliz.a Welsh and Richard Welsh of in and to the said bargained premisses and of in and to every part and parcell thereof with the appurts ^and the said bargained premisses and of in and to every part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances^ And further the said Elizabeth Welsh and Richard Welsh do hereby bargain and sell unto the said Dan.ll Maud and Samuel Hewet three Negroes the one Called Will the other Hannah and the last Robert a boy and alsoe four Cows & Calves three barren Cows one steer two year old and five yearling Calves ten Ewes and thirteen Lambs one gray Mare and one bay horse Six Sows and Nineteen piggs and Eleven Barrows Eighteen Months old To have & to hold the said fifty one Acres of Land and all and Every the Appurts (there) |
