(306)    I Richard Harrison of Philadelphia County in the province of
             pensilvania Merch.t do hereby Authorize and Impower the Honble Coll
             W.m Holland Richard Galloway Sen.r Doct.r Samuel Chew of Maidstone
             of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland Gent or any of one
             or two of them to Acknowledge for me and in my name the w.thin Deed to be
             my Act and Deed According to the Laws of the said province in that Case made
             and provided before either a Prov.ll Magistrate or any two Justices of Calvert
             County where the said Land Lyeth hereby Ratifying and Confirming such
             acknowledgment and aproving thereof as firm and valid to all Intents &
             purposes as if personally Acknowledged by my self Wittness my hand &
             seale this tenth day of August seventeen hundred and twenty Eight

             September the 11.th 1728
                                                       Came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the
             Provinciall Court of the province of Maryland Doct.r Rich.d Hill (and being
             one of the people Called Quakers) made his Solemn affirmation that he se
             the above named Richard Harrison sign seale and Deliver the above power
             of attorney as his Act and Deed to the use Intent and purpose therein
             Mentioned         affirmed to before me the day and year above written

                                           Came before me the Subscribers one of his Lordships Justices of
             the Provinciall Court of the province of Maryland M.r Richard Galloway
             (and by virtue of a power of Attorney to him directed and hereto annexed)
             acknowledged the within Deed and the Land and premisses therein
             Menconed to be the Right and Estate of the within Menconed Sam.ll Harrison
             according to the true Intent and Meaning of the said Deed and the Act
             of Assembly of this province in such Cases made and provided
