Indenture made the Ninth Day of July Annoq.r Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Twenty Eight Between Joshua George of Cecill County Esq.r on the one part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Chyrgeon on the other part Witnesseth that the said Joshua George for and in Consideration of the sume of sixty pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and Discharge him the said Charles Carroll his heirs Exr.s and Administrators hath Given Granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmd and doth by these presents Clearly and Absolutely Give Grant bargain sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns for ever all and singular the Three following Tracts or parcells of Land Lying and being in Baltemore County on the North side of Patapsco River by the Meets and bounds herein after Expressed Viz.t Rogues Harbour Containing one Hundred and sixty acres by the Certificate thereof bearing Date the Twenty seventh day of September One Thousand seven hundred and Twenty seven and Returned into his Lordships Land Office Beginning at a bounded white oak standing in the Given Line of the Land Called Yeats his forbearance taken up by George Yeat and on the West side of a Run Called Dearings Run and Running thence South East Thirty perches then South South East sixty perches thence South South West Fifty Eight perches thence South seventy nine Degrees East Witness six perches North forty seven Degrees East seven Two perches North Twenty four Degrees West one hundred and fourteen perches then North Eleven Degrees West seventy Eight perches West and by South sixty perches North West sixty four perches South West Ten perches South East Thirty perches then with a streight line to teh first Tree Wattsons Chance Containing One hundred and Eighty five Acres beginning at a small Hiccory and Running from the said Hiccory North East and by East Eighty perches thence East Forty perches to another bounded Hiccory thence North West Two hundred and Fifty perches then South West and by West Eighty perches (West) |
