fs The Deposition of Anthony Simmes aged Forty five years or there abouts being sworne on the Holy Evangelist saith that about seven And Thirty years agoe one Charles Fitzgeferis went Over S.t Mary.s River to S.t Enegoes to be Married to one Ann Townsend in Company to the best of their Deponents Knowledge with John Sikes John Miller and William Wheret and that they came back againe the same day to the house of the said John Sikes and there Beded as Man and Wife and from that time passed as Man and Wife during the Life of the said Charles they always Living near this Deponent & that she after his Death was always Called & Reconed to be his Widow and further saith not being sworn this 19.th Day of July Anno 1725 Thomas Waughop George Clarke S.t Marys County fs These are to Certifie that the above subscribers Mess.rs Thomas Waughop & George Clarke before whom the above Depositions were taken are & were at the time of takeing the above Depositions Two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for this County Lawfully assigned And Qualified and to all Depositions acknowledgments and other things as such before them taken and made in Court and thereout all due Creditt is and Ought to be given and that the above is a true Copy from the Records of S.t Mary.s County In Testimony whereof the Seale of the said County Court is Hereunto affixed P M Jemfer Clk Com pred seale Recorded y.e 1.st June 1728 |
