(263) On the back of the Aforegoing Letter of Attorney was wrote as followeth viz.t Maryland fs 20.th March 1727/8 Then Came Agnes Gosling being One of the people Called Quakers and affirmed according to Law that she saw the within Named Jacob Morland sign seal and Deliver y.e Within Instrument as his Act and Deed and that she herselfe signed the same as a subscribing Evidence and also at y.e same time Came before me William Birkbeck & Jane Wray and Made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that they also saw the same Jacob Morland sign seal & Deliver the within Instrument as his Act and Deed and that they also subscribed it as Evidences Declared & Sworn before me John Smith Recorded the 22.d Day of May 1728 x.d Maryland fs In the Records of the Proceedings of S.t Marys County Court amongst other things Is contained as follows viz.t at a Court held At Seymour Town in and for S.t Marys County the Seacond Day of June being the first Tuesday of the same Month in the Twelfth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lady Ann of Great Brittain France & Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith &c and in the year of our Lord God One Thousand seven hundred and Thirteen by her Majesties Justices thereunto Authorized and Appointed Present
