233   Compultion or threats of her said husband and according to Act of Assembly
          in Such Cases made & provided Taken and acknowledged before us the
          Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Ann Arundell County the day

    x.d By This Publick Instrument of Procuration or Letter of attorney
          be it Known and Manifest unto all those who shall so these presents or hear the
          same read that on the Eleventh day of the Month of May Ann Dom 1727
          and in the thirteenth year of the reigne of our Sovn Lord George by the
          Grace of God of great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the
          faith &.r before me James Dunnidge Notarie and Tabellion Publick
          Dwelling in London by Royall Authority duly admitted & sworn & in the
          presence of the wittnesses hereafter named Personally appeared
          M.r Wells Bowen of London Merchant who Declared to have made ordained
          constituted authorized and appointed and by these presents doth make
          ordain constitute authorize and appoint M.r George Walker of the Province
          of Maryland Gent his true and Lawfull attorney giveing & by these
          presents Granting unto his said attorney full Power and Lawfull Authority
          for him the said Constituant in his name and to his use to Ask Demand
          Leavy sue for and by all Lawful waies and means Recover & Receive
          of and from all and every or any pson or psons of what Degree or quality
          so ever whom it shall or may concern inhabiting in the province of
          Maryland afd or else where in America all and every or any such sum
          and sums of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes Effects Estate & things w.tsoever
          which now are or shall or may hereafter be due owing belonging or in
          any ways appertaining to him the said constituant who ther by bond note bill
          book debt account consignm.t contract agreement protested bill or bills
          of Exchange Sentence Judgment Execution Extent or for by or on any
          other account waies reason or means soever Nothing in Law or Equity
          Excepted nor reserved and to that end with all & every person or persons
          of what degree or quality soever whome it shall or may concern to
          account and to view settle and adjust all accounts & the ballance
          thereof to receive and upon recoveries and receipts to give one or more
