(232) three Acres of Land More or Less Together with
all and singular the appurts thereunto belong belonging To have & to hold the afd two hundred and seventy three Acres of Land with the appurts thereunto belonging unto him the said John Brown his heirs and assignes for Ever to the Only proper use and behoof of him the said John Brown his heirs and assignes for ever and no other use Intents and purposes whatsoever And the said Nich.o Ridgley doth hereby for himself his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Covenant and Grant to & with the said John Brown his heirs & assignes that he the said Nich.o Ridgley the bargained premisses with the appurts unto the said John Brown his heirs and assignes shall and will warrant and for ever Defend against him the said Nich.o Ridgley his heirs & assignes or any other pson claiming any Right Estate or Title thereto by from or under the said Nicholas Ridgley his heirs and assignes And the said Nichols Doth hereby Covenant to and with the same John Brown his heirs and assignes that he the said Nicholas Ridgley and his heirs shall & will at any time for ever hereafter at the Reasonable request Costs & Charges in the Law of the same John Brown his heirs & assignes make doe performe and execute any other or further deed or Deeds Act or Acts whatsoever for the better assureance surety and suremakeing the afd premisses with the appurts unto the same John Brown his heirs and assignes with the warranty afd as the Council Learned in the Law of the same John Brown his heirs or assignes shall or will reasonably advise or Devise In Wittness whereof the parties to these presents above named have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and affixed their seales the day and year first above written Sealed & Delivered In the presence of Nicholas Ridgley Seal Joh Beale Tho Worthington On the back of the aforegoing Instrument was written as followeth viz.t May the 17.th 1727 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Prov.ll Court of Maryland the within named Nicholas Ridgley & acknowledged the with in Instrum.t as his Act and deed & the Lands & premisses w.thin Menconed to the w.thin Named John Brown his heirs & assignes for ever according to the true Intent & Meaning of the within deed & the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided Taken and acknowledged before me the day and year above John Smith Mem.d on this to witt the twenty fourth day of Aug.t seventeen hundred & Twenty Seven Came Anne Ridgly the wife of the within named Nicholas Ridgley and being privately Examined out of the hearing of her said husband Relinquisht her Right of Dowrey to the within Land and premisses without any fear (Compultion) |
