             Then Came before Us the Subscribers George Plater Samuel Stringer
             the Subscribing Evidences to the within Bond and made oath on the
             Holy Evangelists that they saw the within bound Charles Calvert Benjamin
             Tasker & Charles Carroll Esq.rs Sign Seal & Deliver the same as their Act &
             Deed w.ch Securitys are approved of by Us and the bond Ordered to be
             Recorded Agree.ble to An Act of Assembly in that case made & provided

     x.d   This Indenture made y.e thirtyeth Day of October In y.e year of our
             Lord one thousand seven hundred & twenty seven at Between
             John Giles of Baltemore County & province of Maryland Gent
             of y.e one part And John England of Principio in Cecil County
             in y.e s.d province of y.e other part Wittnesseth that y.e s.d John
             Giles for and in consideration of y.e sum of Three hundred pounds
             sterl money of Great Brittain & twenty pounds curt money of
             Maryland to him in hand paid and be and secured to be paid
             by y.e s.d John England before y.e sealing & Delivery hereof The
             Receipt whe^r^of y.e s.d John Giles doth hereby confess & acknowledge
             and thereof Doth Acquit exonerate and forever Discharge
             y.e s.d John England his Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes by these presents
             Hath Demised granted bargained and sold & by these
             presents doth demise grant bargain & sell unto y.e s.d John England
             all and all manner of Iron oar and stones of Iron oar whatsoever  
             In or upon a certain point or parcell of Land called
             Whitstone point scituate and lying upon Patapsco River
             in y.e County of Baltemore and province af.d Bounded as
             followeth viz.t Begining at y.e House wherein y.e s.d John
             Giles now Dwelleth upon y.e North west branch of Patopsco
             River by a line drawn from thence Southwest Cross y.e pinte
             untill itt intersects patopsco river and then w.th y.e s.d
