Wittnesseth That y.e said Gerard Slye for and in Consideration of Two hundred pounds sterling to him in hand paid by the said Charles the receipt whereof he doth acknowledge hath Given Granted bargained & sold as by these presents he the said Gerard doth for him and his heirs Give Grant bargain & sell unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns All that Tract or parcell of Land called Bramly part of S.t Clements Manner Conveyed by Thomas Gerard on or about the Twenty seventh of May in the fifteenth year of King Charles y.e second unto his son Fristinian Gearard and afterwards became the Right of Charles Carroll father of Charles party to these presents who Conveyed to y.e said Gerard Slye Five hundred acres of thereof as in and by y.e Deeds thereof relation being thereunto doth and may more full appear as by these presents the said Gerard & Mary his Wife Doe for them selves and Each of them and their heirs Give Grant bargened & sell unto him the said Charles Caroll his heirs and assignes the af.d parsell of Land Called Bramly Containing Five hundred acres as af.d in as full and ample maner as the said Charles the father of Charles party to these presents Die convey transferr and make over the same to y.e said Gerard Together with all improvements Conveinenties & Advantages thereon or thereto belonging To have and to hold the Lands and premises cgs.t unto him y.e said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assignes forever to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Charles his heirs and Assignes & to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the s.d Gerard Slye and Mary his wife doe for themselves their heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes |
