                                Know all men by these p.rsents y.t I John Nutthall & of y.e
             County of S.t Maris Doe stand and am holden & firmly bounden unto
             Walter Hall of y.e same County af.d in y.e just sume of one hundred Thousand
             pounds of Good Merchantable Tobacco in Caske to be paid to y.e s.d Walter Hall
             or his true and Lawfull Attorney Executo.rs Adm.rs to y.e w.ch payment
             well and truly to be made I Doe binde me my Heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs firmly
             by these p.rsents sealed w.th my seale and Dated y.e twenty first Day of Aprill
             in y.e eight and thirtieth year of Cæcilius &.r Annoq.r Dom.r 1670

             Thomas Larkin of Ann Arundell County make oath on y.e holy Evangilist
             that some time after William Blay of Kent County bought some
             Land Lying near y.e mouth of sasafras River he y.e s.d Blay was at Annapolis
             and came to y.e Dep.o w.th a platt and Cer.r & to y.e best of his remembrance
             to claim that there had been some error committed in a
             survey or Resurvey that M.r Cha Carroll who then Acted in y.e Land
             office told him M.r Clement Hill was the proper officer to apply
