199 x.d This Indenture made the Thirtenth day of February in
the vide Judg.t One and fortith year of the Dominion of Cæcilius &c Annoq Dom One Records Liber thousand six hundred seventy two Between James Nutthall of Calvert II fol 20 County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part and Walter Hall of S.t Maries County in the same Province Gent of the other part Wittnesseth that the said James Nuthall for and in Consideration of sixteen thousand pounds of Tobacco in Cask to him in hand paid by the said Walter Hall the raceipt whereof the said James Nuthall doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth hereby absolutely and clerely exonerate acquitt and discharge the said Walter Hall his heirs Executors and Administrators for ever by these presents hath given granted bargained and Sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargaine sell enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Walter Hall his heirs and Assignes forever All that parcelll or tract of Land late in the tenure or occupation of him the said James his Assignes lying and being in S.t Maries County aforesaid being part of a divident of land comonly called or knowne by the name of Cornwallis Cross Mannour Begining at the Quarter Creek and so runing along by the side of the Old field that the Cross Mannour house standeth on to the pathway that goeth to Long Neck and from thence along the said path till it comes to John Burages Old field and from thence to George Wrighes outward line and so into the woods to S.t Inagoes Mannour containing by estimation one thousand Acres more or less together with all and singular the houses Edifices buildings yards Gardens ^Orchards^ Woods Underwoods Rights benefitts Jurisdictions priviledges and profitts thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and To hold the said parcell of land and all and singular other the premises hereby granted bargained and sold or mentioned to be herein or hereby bargained granted and sold with their and every of their rights Members and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said Walter Hall his heirs and Assignes for ever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Walter Hall his heirs and Assignes fro ever And the said James Nutthall for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them the said parcell of land and all and singular other the premises before granted bargained and sold with the Appurtenances unto the said Walter Hall and his heirs to the only proper use and behoof of the said Walter Hall his heirs and Assignes for ever against him the said James Nutthall his heirs and Assigns and all and every other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claimeing by from or under him or them or any of them shall and |
