190 wherewith he the s.d Christopher doth
acknowledge himself to be fully satisfied hath given granted bargained and sold And by these presents doth give grant Bargain & Sell unto the said Philip Hammond all that tract or parcell of land Called Buckridge lying in Baltemore County afs.d on a ridge Called Bunting Ridge Begining at a bounded white oak standing on a ridge and runing thence North seventy degrees West one hund.d and fifty perches Thence North ten degrees East thirty perches Thence North West two hundred perches Thence South West fifty six perches Thence North West three hund.d twenty and six perches Thence South West one hundred fifty six perches Thence East and by North one hundred twenty and one perches Thence South East six hund.d and eighty perches Thence with a streight line to the s.d bounded tree containing and laid out for four hund.d Acres of land More or less Together with all and singular the premises and appurtenances ^thereunto belonging To have and to hold all and singular the said Land and premisses with its appurtenances^ unto the said Philip Hammond his heires and assignes for ever To the only proper use and behoof of him the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes for ever And the s.d Christopher Gardner for himself his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Covenanteth promiseth granteth and agreeth ^to^ and with the said Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes That he the s.d Christopher Gardner and his heirs the aforementioned Land and premises with the Appurtenances unto him the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes from and against him the s.d Christopher Gardner and his heirs and from and against all manner of persons whatsoever shall and will warr.t and Defend Provided Allways that if the s.d Christopher Gardner his heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall or doe well and truly pay or Cause to be p.d to the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs or assignes At or before the first day of September next Ensueing the date hereof the sume of twenty two pounds Eleven Shill.s and seven pence str togather with all Charges and Legall Interest that may arise or become due unto the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs or assignes by the protest of a Certain Sett of Bills of Ex.r bearing date herewith drawn by the s.d Christoph.r payable to the s.d Philip for the sume abovementioned with intention to discharge the same without fraud or further delay That then and from thence forth this present gift grant Bargain and saile shall be void and of noe Effect And the right of the premises hereby bargained and sold shall revert to the s.d Christoph.r his heirs and assignes And be as in their former Estate any thing herein contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding In Wittness |
