by Vertue of the Deed aforemenconed In Wittness whereof the said John Worthington hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seale the day and year first above written sealed and delivered in presence of Seal Josias Towgood John Worthington CW Hammonet On the back of w.ch Deed was this Endorst viz.r March 13 1723 Then the within menconed John Worthington Came before us the subscribers two of his Ldps Justices of Ann Arundell County Court and acknowledged the within deed and the Lands and premisses therein Contained to be the Right and Estate of the within menconed Joseph Howard his heirs and Assignes for Ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly of this province in such Cases made & provided Josias Towgood Recorded June 17.th 1724 Ch Hammonet Maryland fs This Indenture made the 2.d Day of March in the year of our Lord God seventeen hundred and Twenty three Between Josiall Jones of Baltemore County Planter of the one part and John Carpenter of Ann Arundell County Marriner of the other part Wittnesseth that whereas the said Josiah Jones for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty Pounds sterl to him in Hand paid and for Divers others good Causes and Considerations him Thereunto moveing Hath given granted Bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by These Pesents he Doth give grant bargained sell aliend Enfeoff ffed and Confirm unto the s.d John Carpenter his heirs |
