(163)    Wittnesseth that the said William Maria Farthing for and
             in Consideration of the sum of six Thousand pounds of
             Tobaccoe to him in hand paid or secured to be paid the receipt
             whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge himself There
             with to be ^there with^ fully satisfied & paid and and of Every part and parcell
             Thereof doth hereby fully Acquitt & Discharge him the said
             Richard Hopewell his heirs Executors & Administrators
             By These presents hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened
             Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by These presents for himself
             and his heirs Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Aliene Enfeoff
             and Confirm unto him the said Richard Hopewell his heirs
             and assigns for Ever all the Right Title & Interest of
             him the said William Maria Farthing unto all that Tract
             or parcell of Land Lying and Being in Dorchester County
             In the province of Maryland Called or Known by the name
             of Edlars Lott Lying on the south side of a Creek Called
             S.t Jones's Creek Beginning at the End of the south east
             Line of five hundred acres of Land Laid Out for Thomas
             Smithson Jun.r Called Smithsone Tryall and Running South
             East One hundred & Twenty perches Thence North East
             five hundred Thirty Three perches Thence North West One
             hundred & Twenty perches to the said Land Calld Smithsone
             Tryall thence w.th the said Land South West five hundred &
             Thirty Three perches Bounded on the south with the said Creek
             Containing four hundred Acres more or Less To Have & to
             Hold The said Tract or parcell of Land and premises
             with Its appurtenances and every part and parcell Thereof
             unto him the said Richard Hopewell his heirs and assigns
             for ever Clear and free from all Claims of him the said William
             Maria Farthing or his heirs or any other person claiming
             from by or him Them or any of Them and also Clear and free
             from all Claims of Joseph Edlors Deceased or his Heirs or
             any other person Claiming from by him Them or any of Them
                                                                                                 But
