(142)     concern the said sum and sums of Money Goods Merchandizes
             effects and personall Estate and premisses hereby bargained
             sold and assigned or menconed or intended so to be and receipts
             acquitances and ^other^ charges to make execute and give for the
             same in part or in full as the Case shall require and to make
             use of all lawfull ways and means whatsoever for the receipt
             recovery and discharge thereof or of any part thereof as
             fully and effectually as she Could do if personally presents
             And The said William Vernon doth hereby for himself his
             heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs covenant promise and agree to & w.th
             the said Anne Vernon her Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these presents
             in manner following that is to say that he the said Will.m
             Vernon shall and will w.thin the space of six calendar months
             now next ensuing well and truly pay and discharge all
             such debts as were due and owing in the province of Maryland
             af.d by the said Christopher Vernon at the time of his death
             and also all such charges sums of money and Cornicon as have
             been paid or expended or as are or shall be due or owing to
             the said William Chapman for or by reason or means of his
             acting by virtue of or under the said letter of Attorney or
             otherwise relating to the said personall Estate and that
             he the said William Vernon his Executors and Admes shall
             and will from time to time and at all times hereafter well
             and sufficiently save harmless and keep indemnifyed the sd
             Ann Vernon her Executors and Adm.rs of and from all such
             suits Costs and Damages as shall or may be commenced or
             brought against or paid sustained or payable by the said
             Anne Vernon her Executors and Adm.s by reason of means
             of the assignment and power hereby made and given
             or intended to be made and given or either of them ^or^ of using
             the name of the said Anne Vernon of her Executors in
             or about the matters af.d or any of them or otherwise
             relating to the premises And To the performance of all
