(141)     she doth hereby acknowledge and also in consideration that y.e s.d
             William Varnon hath under taken and agreed to pay all such
             debts as were due and owing in the said province of Maryland
             af.d by the said Christopher Vernon at the time of his death or have
             since become due relating to the said Estate or the looking after or
             managing the same and all such Chargeable ^sums^ of money and
             Commission as are or shall be due or owing to the said William
             Chapman according to the usuall custom of Maryland
             for by reason or [illegible] his acting by vertue of or under y.e s.d
             letter of Attorney and to save harmless the said Anne Vernon
             in such manner as is herein after mentioned and for other
             good causes and consideration her thereunto moving she the
             said Anne Vernon Hath bargained sold assigned transferred
             and set over and by these presents doth fully and absolutely
             bargain sell assign transferr and sel over unto the said William
             Vernon all such right Title Interest Claims and demand as
             she hath of in or to such sums of money goods merchandizes
             effects and other personall Estate whatsoever in the said province
             of Maryland as did belong to the said Christopher Vernon at the
             time of his death so as and upon condition that he do pay allow and
             deduct thereout to the said William Chapman all such sums of
             money charges and couricorras are and shall be due to him as
             afd To Have and To hold The said sum and sums of Money
             Goods Merchandizes Effects and personall Estate and
             all and singular the premisses hereby bargained sold and
             assigned or mentioned or intended so to be, unto the said
             William Vernon his Ex.rs Adm.rs and assigns to and for his
             and their own use and behoof as fully and effectually as she y.e
             said Anne Varnon might have held and enjoyed the same
             if these presents had never been made but under and subject
             to such condicon as af.d And The said Ann Varnon doth
             hereby authorize and impower the said William Vernon
             for her and in her name but to his own ^use^ subject to such
             condition as afd to ask demand sue for recover and receive
             of & from all and every person and persons whom it may
