              This Indentur made the Thirteenth day of January in
             the year of Our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and
             twenty five Between Thomas Sparrow Grand son and heir
             at Law as saippozed ^supposed^ of Elizabeth Johns wife of Richd
             Johns of y.e clifte in Calvert County and become soe by the
             Death of Thomas Sparrow anno       father of Thomas
             party to these presents who was heir aparent of the said
             Elizabeth Johns who was heiress at Law of Hugh Hensey
             the originall pattentee of a parcell of Land Called Walnut
             Neck of Annarundell County Gent.n of the one part and
             William Ponteny of the City of Annapolis Butcher of
             the other part Wittnesseth that for and in consideration
             of y.e sum of six pounds current money of Maryland To him
             already in hand paid by y.e s.d William Ponteny y.e recipt
             whereof is hereby acknowledged also for divers other
             good causes and valuable considerations him thereunto
             expetially moveing hath given granted bargained sold
             ali^e^ned enffeofed confirmed & made over as by these presents
             he the said Thomas Sparrow doth for himself & his heirs
             give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff confirm & make
             over unto him the said William Ponteny his heirs & assigned
             for ever all his the s.d Thomas Sparrows Right Title and
             Interest of in and to a certain parcell of Land Called Walnut
             Neck containing one hundred acres of lying on y.e
