this 22.d Day of Nov.ber Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Twenty five Between Henry Bateman of Annarundell County Carpenter of the one part and Samuell Peale of the same county merchant on the other part Wittnesseth that the said Henry for and in consideration of the sume of Forty pounds sterling to him the said Henry by him the said Samuel in hand paid the receipt whereof he the said Henry doth hereby acknowledge and therefrom and from every part and parcell thereof doth hereby fully clearly and Absolutely Acquit Exonerate and discharge him the said Samuel his heires Executors and Administrators Hath given granted bargained sold alined enfeofed and confirmed and doth by these presents for himself & his heirs give grant bargain sell aliene Enfeoffe and confirm unto him y.e said Samuel Peale his heires and assignes for ever All that Tract or parcell of Land called Welches Adventure surveyed for Daniel Welsh about the year sixteen hundred Eighty Eight and by the said Daniel or his heirs conveyed to Otho Holland and by the said & the conveyed to the said Henry Bateman party to these presents scituate lying & being in Baltemore Begining at a bounded white oake standing at a he^a^d of a branch called the North East Branch of the three branched pond and runing thence Down the Branch south five degrees East One hundred and twenty Eight perches unto a bounded Red Oak then West five degrees South One hundred and twenty eight ps unto a bounded White Oake then north five degrees West One hundred and Twenty Eight perches unto a double bounded Red Oak so w.th a streight line to the first bounded Tree containing and laid out for One hundred Two Acres More or less (with) |
