his heirs and assigns the Land and Premises af.d against him the said Robert Ridgley and his heirs as also against all Manner of Persons lawfully Claiming or to Claim from by or under him for ever hereafter to warrant and defend In Testimony whereof the Parties to these Presente have Interchangeably set their hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Ro Ridgely Seal Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Cha Lym Platt Cooke On the aforegoing Deed was Endorst Tho Clarke July the 1.st 1725 Then Reced of James Carroll five shillings Current being the consideration money within mentioned Witness my hand the day & year afd Test Cha Lym Platt Cooke Ro Ridgely Tho Clarke July 3.d 1725 Then came before Me Samuel Young Esq.r Chief Justice of his Lordships Provincial Court of Maryland the within mentioned Robert Ridgely and acknowledged the within Deed according to Act of Assembly in that Case Made and Provided Sam Young Recorded January y.e 1.st 1725 Ex.d This Indenture made the Twentieth Day of July Anno Dom seventeen hundred and twenty Five Between Francis Holland of Baltemore County who Married Susannah Utie who was heir at law of Nathaniel Utie late of Baltemore County Deceased of the one part and William Holland of Annarundell County Esq.r of the other part Witnesseth that whereas the said William hath paid unto the said Francis and also paid and secured to be paid to sundry others at the special Instance and Request of the Said Francis and for his use the sum of four hundred and sixty nine pounds nineteen shillings sterling all which the said Francis doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and from every part and parcell thereof doth hereby fully clearly and absolutely Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said William Therefore he the said Francis for and in consideration of the premises have given Granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffd and |
