             of attorney and that y.e other three subscribing evidences
             John James Cheeseman Peircy and Thomas Hopkins were present
             at the same time sworn to before me the day and year above
             written

             Then came Benjamin Tasker Esq.r before me and pursuant to the
             above power of attorney to him directed acknowledged the w.thin
             Instrument and the Lands and premises therein mentioned to be
             the right and Estate of the w.thin named William Stavely & James
             Bennett according to the form and direction of the Act of Assembly
             in such cases provided In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett
             my hand the day and year above written

             County deceased and as such heir at Law of William his Uncle
             deceased & Sarah his wife of the one part and James Carroll of
             Ann Arundle County Gent.n of the other part Whereas Robert
             Ridgeley in his lifetime of S.t Maryes County deceased grandfather
             of Robert party to these presents Did by his last will & testament
             in writting bearing date on or about the Twentyeth day of
             December Anno Dom sixteen hundred & eighty devise unto
             the said William Ridgeley the Uncle as afd a certain tract of   
             Land called the Westanfields lying in Somerset County betw
