Thomas Bladen Seal On the back of the said Deed was thus Indorsed viz.t sealed and delivered & being first duly stampt in the presence of us 1.th February 1724 Receved then of and from the within named William Staveley and James Bennett the sume of six hundred pounds being the consideracon money 600 w.thin menconed to be paid by them to me I say Reced p Me Wittnesse Thomas Bladen Jn.a James Cheesman Peirey Cha Carroll Tho Hopkinse I the w.th named Thomas Bladen do hereby Impower Benjamine Tasker and Daniel Dulany of Maryland Esq.r to acknowledge the within written Deed before any justices of the provincially Court of the province of Maryland or any two justices of the peace their as the Laws of the s.d province direct and for your or either of yourse doing this shall be your or either of your sufficient Warrant As Wittness my hand this First day of February Anno Dom Wittness Tho Bladen Seale Jn.o James Cheesman Peiry Cha Carroll Tho Hopkins October the 27.th 1725 Then came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland Doctor Charles Carroll one of the subscribing evidences to the above power of attorney and made oath upon the holy Evangelist of Almighty God that he saw the above s.d Thomas Bladen |
