(105) Things coveyances or assurances in the Law
whatsoever as by the said William Worthington his heirs or assignes or his or their council learned in y.e Law shall be reasonably advised devised or required for the further and more perfect assureance surety and sure makeing of all and singular the intended to be hereby granted Land and premises and every part and parcell thereof unto him the said William Worthington his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the parties & In Wittness whereof the party first above named hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal y.e day and year first above written signed sealed and delivered in presence of us James Stoddart Rob.t Johnson Vachel Denton seal On the back of the s.d Dead was thus InDorst viz.t September y.e 15 1725 Then Received of the within named William Worthington the sum of one hundred & eigty pounds curr 180.l money being the full consideration money for y.e Land and premises within mentioned I say reced p me Test Vachel Denton James Stoddert Rob.t Johnson September y.e 15 1725 The within mentioned Vachel Denton acknowledges y.e within Instrument as his Act and Deed and the Land and premises therin mentioned to be y.e Right and Estate of the within named William Worthington his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of y.e same Deed & y.e Act of Assembly of y.e this province in that case made and provided And at the same time came Anne the wife of y.e s.d Vachel Denton who being secretly examined out of y.e hearing of her husband declared that she relinquished her Right of Dower to y.e Lands and premisses within mentioned willingly and freely & without being induced |
