County Liquor Control Board and Dispensary," authorizing the
Dorchester County liquor control board to increase its reserve
fund.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 172 (a) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Dorchester County Liquor Control Board and Dispensary,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
172.
(a) All net profits arising from the operation of said dispensary
shall be first applied towards the payment of any and all sums ad-
vanced to or borrowed by the liquor control board. After such sums
have been paid, the said board shall be authorized to create and
maintain a reserve fund not to exceed [$50,0003 $75,000, including
the total inventory of stock and supplies on hand, to provide adequate
working capital and to meet any loss that may be sustained by the
board in the operation of said dispensary. All net profits in excess
of the above requirements shall belong to and be paid over to the
County Commissioners of Dorchester County on or before April 1
in each and every year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37(a)
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
(1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education," subtitle
"Chapter 4. County Boards of Education," to provide for a travel
allowance for the members of the Kent County Board GARRETT
AND KENT COUNTY BOARDS of Education,, AND/OR THE
MEMBERS AND CHAIRMAN OF THE CHARLES COUNTY
BOARD OF EDUCATION.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 37(a) of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Edu-
cation," subtitle "Chapter 4. County Boards of Education," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

(a) The county board of education shall hold an annual meet-
ing each year on the second Tuesday in July, or as near as possible
