such referendum election shall be favorable to such amendment and on the
thirtieth day following the proclamation by the Mayor accordingly, as
provided by law.

We, the undersigned, certify that the foregoing resolution was regu-
larly proposed to and unanimously adopted by the Council and approved
by the Mayor at a special meeting of Mayor and Council of Snow Hill
called by the Mayor and held on the 11th day of January, 1969, at which
meeting the Mayor and 3 of the Council were in attendance.

No petition for referendum was filed nor any referendum had with
respect to the foregoing measure.
The amendment of the foregoing Section 350 became effective March
3, 1969.
As witness the signature of the Mayor and the corporate seal of
said Mayor and Council of Snow Hill, attested by its City Clerk, this 14th

Minutes of Meeting
The President read to the meeting a letter of petition, dated July 16,
1969, from Elmer D. Bollinger and Eva M. Bollinger, his wife, requesting
the annexation of 33.540 acres of land, more or less, lying east of the
Western Maryland Railroad and along the present northern boundary of
the Town. The signatures to the petition, which is attached hereto, were
ascertained by the Commissioners to represent one hundred per cent
(100%) of the residents of the area described therein who are registered
as voters in county elections in the precinct in which the area is located,
and also the owners of one hundred per cent (100%) of the real property
located within that area.
The following resolution was then introduced:
BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED by the Commissioners of Thur-
mont that the corporate boundaries of the Town of Thurmont be enlarged
by the annexation of the following described area:
Beginning for the same at a point on the eastern right of way line
of the Western Maryland Railroad Company at the end of 1570.67 feet
on the North 34° 37' East line of the present Town boundary and running
