Whereas, thereafter a public notice of said Resolution was published
not fewer than four times at not less than weekly intervals in the Mont-
gomery County Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in the City
of Rockville and the area to be annexed, the said notice specifying that
a public hearing would be held on said Resolution in the office of the
Mayor and Council at 9:15 P.M. on the 17th day of March, 1969; and

Whereas, the Mayor and Council of Rockville has fully considered and
deliberated the matters presented at said public hearing and has de-
termined that said Resolution should be adopted;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND

That the following Resolution adding a new section to the Charter
of the City of Rockville, said new section to be known as Section 77,
Article I (to follow immediately after Section 76, Article I thereof) and
as Section 49-31tt, Montgomery County Code, 1960, (to follow immediately
after Section 49-31ss thereof) to provide for the enlarging of the cor-
porate boundaries of the City of Rockville, be and the same is hereby
adopted to become effective on the 16th day of May, 1969.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Mayor and Council of Rockville,
Maryland, that the boundaries of the City of Rockville are hereby ex-
tended to include the following area, which is hereby added to said City:

Parcel A

Beginning for the same at a point on the corporate limits of Rockville,
said point being on and 248.15 feet from the end of the 1st line of a
conveyance from Dexter M. Bullard to James W. Bullard and recorded
in Liber 2703, Folio 65 among the Land Records of Montgomery County,
Maryland, thence leaving said 1st line and running with said corporate
limit line South 52°51'28" East, 1052.35 feet to intersect the westerly
right-of-way line of the Washington National Pike (Rt. 70S), thence with
said right-of-way line

South 12°07'50"East, 516.03 feet to the northerly right-of-way line
of Falls Road (Md. Rt. 189), thence with said northerly line the two
following lines:

South 20°14'10" West, 106.08 feet, thence with an arc of a curve
to the right whose radius is 4523.66 feet, an arc of 399.28 feet and a
chord bearing and distance of

South 45°33'30" West, 399.28 feet to a point on the northeast corner
of Lot 1, Block A, of Plat One, Fallsmead, as recorded in Plat Book
83, Plat 8601, thence with the easterly outline of Fallsmead Subdivision
and with the corporate limits of Rockville the 3 following lines

North 41°22'10" West, 955.67 feet
North 44°17'10" West, 172.91 feet

North 54°47'10" West, 415.80 feet, thence leaving said easterly out-
line of Fallsmead and still with said corporate limits

North 46°47'17" East, 640.00 feet to the point of beginning, contain-
ing 22.6064 acres.

Being a part of the Mary Trail Nicholson Property as intended and
described in Liber VMB 197, Folio 889 among the Records of the Register
of Wills of Montgomery County, Maryland.
