THE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL BE AP-
POINTED IN 1969. ONE OF THE ADDITIONAL MEMBERS
SHALL SERVE AT-LARGE AND SHALL BE APPOINTED FOR
A TERM ENDING JULY 1, 1971; ONE ADDITIONAL MEM-
BER SHALL BE APPOINTED WITH RESPECT TO HIS RESI-
DENCE IN A SENATORIAL SUBDISTRICT, IF ON JULY 1,
1969, A SUBDISTRICT EXISTS WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A
RESIDENT ON SAID BOARD, AND THIS TERM SHALL END
ON JULY 1, 1974.

(12) In Prince George's County, at the conclusion of the present

term expiring in 1970, there shall be an appointment for a term

ending July 1, 1976; at the conclusion of the two present terms

expiring in 1971, one appointment shall be made for a term ending

July 1, 1977, and a second appointment shall be made for a term

ending July 1, 1978. TERMS EXPIRING IN 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973,
1974, AND 1975, APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR FIVE
YEAR TERMS. TWO ADDITIONAL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD
SHALL BE APPOINTED IN 1969; ONE OF WHOM SHALL BE
APPOINTED FOR A TERM ENDING JULY 1, 1973, AND THE
OTHER OF WHOM SHALL BE APPOINTED FOR A TERM
ENDING JULY 1, 1974.

     (13) In Frederick County, at the conclusion of the two present

terms expiring in 1972, one appointment shall be made for a term

ending July 1, 1976.

(13) IN FREDERICK COUNTY, AT THE CONCLUSION OF
THE PRESENT TERMS EXPIRING IN 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973,
1974, AND 1975, RESPECTIVELY, APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE
MADE FOR FIVE YEAR TERMS.

(14) In Talbot County, at the conclusion of the present terms

expiring in 1970, one appointment shall be made for a term ending

July 1, 1976.

(14)    IN TALBOT COUNTY, AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE
PRESENT TERMS EXPIRING IN 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974,
AND 1975, RESPECTIVELY, APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE
MADE FOR FIVE YEAR TERMS.

(15) In Somerset County at the conclusion of one of the present

terms expiring in 1973, an appointment shall be made for a term

ending July 1, 1976; at the conclusion of the second of the two present

terms expiring in 1973, an appointment shall be made for a term

ending July 1, 1980.

(15) IN SOMERSET COUNTY, AT THE CONCLUSION OF
THE PRESENT TERMS EXPIRING IN 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973,
1974, AND 1975, RESPECTIVELY, APPOINTMENTS SHALL
BE MADE FOR FIVE YEAR TERMS.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the following existing
sections of the said Article 77 be and they are hereby renumbered,
without amendment, as follows:

(a) Sections 177 through 201B, inclusive, subtitle "Public
Libraries" shall become Sections 162 through
