Beverages," subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners," re-
pealing an obsolete provision in the alcoholic beverages laws con-
cerning the County Board of License Commissioners in Somerset
County.

Whereas, Section 154(b) of Article 2B of the Code concerns
the County Board of License Commissioners in Somerset County,
providing that the State Appeal Board shall act in place of a County
Board of License Commissioners; and

Whereas, Chapter 721 of the Acts of 1967 enacted another sec-
tion which authorizes the Governor to appoint the members of the
Board of License Commissioners in Somerset County; and

Whereas, Section 154(b), therefore, is obsolete and should be
repealed; now, therefore,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 154(b) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners," be and it is hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 372
(House Bill 898)

AN ACT to add new Section 111B to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Crimes and
Punishment," subtitle "Destroying, Injuring, etc., Property Ma-
liciously," to follow immediately after Section 111A thereof pro-
hibiting the throwing, shooting or propelling of certain missiles
into an occupied vehicle or instrumentality of public transporta-
tion and, prescribing the punishment therefor, AND PROVIDING
FOR JURISDICTION IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT AND
CRIMINAL COURT IN BALTIMORE CITY TO TRY PERSONS
CHARGED WITH THIS OFFENSE.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 111B be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title
"Crimes and Punishment," subtitle "Destroying, Injuring, etc.,
Property Maliciously," to follow immediately after Section 111A
thereof, and to read as follows:

111B.

Whoever ANY PERSON WHO willfully throws, shoots or propels
a rock, stone, brick, or a piece of iron, steel or other like metal, or
any deadly or dangerous missile, or fire bomb, into a vehicle or instru-
mentality of public transportation that is occupied by one or more
