657.

(a) For the purpose of paying the interest and principal of the
bonds issued in the name of a district by any said commission as in
this subtitle provided for the water or sewerage systems to be con-
structed, purchased or established under this subtitle, the said com-
mission is hereby empowered to establish a proper and reasonable
charge, payable to such district, not less than the actual cost thereof,
for connection with said water and sewerage system so to be con-
structed, purchased or established as aforesaid, and to fix an annual
assessment, payable to such district on all properties, improved or
unimproved, binding upon a street, road, lane, alley or right-of-way
in which a water main or sewer has been built. The said annual
assessment shall be made upon the front-foot basis, or an alternate
basis subject to uniform rules and regulations within the district
approved by the district and the county commissioners,
and the
first payment shall be collected during the year in which the con-
struction is completed on the water or sewerage systems, or in which
the systems are purchased or acquired. The said commission for the
purpose of assessing benefits shall divide all properties binding upon
a street, road, lane, alley or right-of-way, in which a water pipe or
sanitary sewer is to be laid, into four classes, namely: Agricultural,
small acreage, industrial or business, and subdivision property, and
the commission may subdivide each of said classes in such manner
as it may deem to be in the public interest.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(House Bill 728)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 132(f)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland
Water Fish," subheading "Upland and Migratory Game Birds and
Game Animals," amending the laws concerning hunting and
game in order to change the language and application of the pro-
visions relating to certain hunting during nighttime hours.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 132 (f) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Upland and Migratory
Game Birds and Game Animals," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

[f] (e) Hunting at night; [raccoon and opossum; number of
shells fired by shotgun; twenty-two caliber rifles and bows and
arrows.] It shall be unlawful to hunt any game at nighttime, except
