fifty cents ($3.50) as a license fee. The agent shall thereupon issue
a license and tag to be supplied to said agent by the Director and
the license shall bear the signature of the Director and shall be
countersigned by the agent issuing the same, who shall at the same
time fill out a stub attached to the license blank, the name and
address of the licensee and shall then detach said stub and mail to
the Director the first day of each any (and) every month in each
year, said license shall be void on the thirtieth day of June in each
year following the date of issue. The agent shall retain as compen-
sation for issuing each of the above licenses, the sum of fifty cents
(50¢), the balance of said fee to be paid and accounted for as pre-
scribed by law in this Article, and the agent shall deliver the license
properly executed to the applicant in person or by mail without
further cost; said licensee shall insert his or her name on the license
in ink at the time of purchase. Such license shall not be transferable
and if used or presented by any person other than the person to
whom it was issued, such license shall be confiscated by the Director,
any wildlife officer, constable or other officer who shall find such
license being used. The penalty for [any nonresident of the State of
Maryland found guilty of] hunting on a regulated shooting area
without having first procured a license, or for refusing to show said
license when demanded by the Director, or any wildlife officer,
sheriff, constable or other officer, or landowner or his representative,
or failing to display the license tag prominently, as provided by law,
shall be the same as those penalties set forth in Section 130.

Nothing herein contained shall prevent the holders of a regular
resident or nonresident hunting license from hunting on regulated
shooting grounds by requiring them to obtain an additional license
as prescribed herein.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 239
(Senate Bill 494)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 715 (d) 5
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters and
Clams," to extend CHANGE the area in the South River of Anne
Arundel County in which it is unlawful to catch or dredge soft-
shell clams by use of hydraulic, mechanical or other type of dredge.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 715 (d) 5 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Oysters and Clams," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

cluding Marley Creek, Stoney Creek, Bodkin Creek, Magothy River
