Any person who delivers or attempts to deliver or procures to be
delivered, or conspires to deliver, or has in his possession with intent
to deliver, to a person confined in any penal institution, reformatory
or other place of confinement within the State, or whoever deposits
or conceals, or attempts to deposit or conceal, in or about said in-
stitution, or upon any land appurtenant thereto, any contraband, as
the same may be defined by the Commissioner of Correctional Serv-
ices
, ANY MONEY, OR OTHER THING OF VALUE, INCLUD-
ING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE,
STIMULATING, SEDATIVE OR NARCOTIC DRUG, OR DAN-
GEROUS DRUG AS DEFINED IN SECTION 307 OF THIS
ARTICLE, and whoever receives from a person confined in any
penal institution, reformatory or other place of confinement within
the State, anything which is termed contraband by the Commissioner
of Correctional Services,
ANY MONEY, OR OTHER THING OF
VALUE, INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE, STIMULATING, SEDATIVE OR NARCOTIC DRUG,
OR DANGEROUS DRUG AS DEFINED IN SECTION 307 OF
THIS ARTICLE, with the intent to convey said contraband IT out
of the institution, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon con-
viction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than
three (3) years or by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars
($1,000.00) or both.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 238
(Senate Bill 492)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 181 (c)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supple-
ment) , title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Raising Game in Cap-
tivity," to provide licenses for hunting on regulated shooting
grounds.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 181 (c) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Rais-
ing Game in Captivity," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

181.

(c) The Department of Game and Inland Fish may issue special
licenses [to nonresidents] to hunt on regulated shooting grounds only
for wild turkey, pheasant, bobwhite, quail, chukar partridge and
mallard ducks only as follows: The applicant [, if a nonresident of
the State of Maryland,] shall pay to the issuing agent with whom
he or she files his or her application, the sum of three dollars and
