1.    To attend all meetings of the Authority, and to act as its
recording secretary and keep minutes of all its proceedings.

2.    To approve all accounts for salaries, per diem payments and
allowable expenses of the Authority or of any employee or consultant
thereof and expenses incidental to the operation of the Authority.

3.    To maintain a close liaison with the Calvert County Economic
Development Corporation, the Tri-County Council for Southern
Maryland, and the Maryland Department of Economic Development,
to facilitate the planning and development of the Industrial Park.

4.    To perform such other duties as may be directed by the
Authority in the carrying out of the purposes of this subtitle.

177E.

(a)   Within fourteen (14) days of appointment the Authority shall
convene to consider the current status of the contemplated Industrial
Park. The members shall meet jointly with the Board of County
Commissioners and representatives of the Economic Development
Corporation, and Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland.

(b)   Within sixty (60) days of the appointment of all members of
the Authority a public hearing shall be held to inform the public of
the purposes of the Authority. Notice of this meeting shall be pub-
lished in a generally circulated local newspaper for two (2) weeks
prior to the meeting.

(c)  The County shall publish in a paper ONE OR MORE PAPERS
of local circulation for three weeks running its intention to sell bonds
for the purposes herein stipulated and shall have a public hearing on
this intention. At the public hearing the Commissioners shall have
available development plans completed in sufficient detail for Phase
One (126 acres) of the park.

PROPOSED ACTION OF THE PARK TO BE CONSTRUCTED
WITH THE PROCEEDS OF THAT BOND ISSUE.

(d)   The Authority additionally shall report to the Commissioners
and the report be made public, by publishing in a local newspaper, of
contemplated changes in the property acquired for an industrial
park when such changes are significant and of public interest as
determined by the Authority.

(a)  As used in this subtitle the words and terms following have
the meanings indicated, unless the context indicates another or dif-
ferent meaning or intent.

(b)   The term "County" means the body politic and corporate of
the State of Maryland known as the County Commissioners of Cal-
vert County.

(c)   The term "industrial park" means a tract of land, the control
and administration of which are vested in a single body, suitable
for industrial use because of location, topography, proper zoning,
availability of utilities, and accessibility to transportation. The uses
