BALTIMORE COUNTY                                2031

The following shall be charges for examinations:

1.   For a Master Plumber License ..............................................   $10.00

2.   For a Journeyman Plumber License ....................................   $ 5.00

3. For a Master Gas Fitter License

4.   For a Journeyman Gas Fitter License.................................. $ 5.00

5.   Disposal System Contractor License .................................... $10.00

The following shall be charges for certificates:

1.   Master Plumber Certificate ....................................................   $35.00

2.   Journeyman Plumber Certificate ..........................................   $ 5.00

3.   Master Gas Fitter Certificate ..............................................   $35.00

4.   Journeyman Gas Fitter Certificate ......................................   $ 5.00

5.   Disposal System Contractor Certificate ..............................   $35.00

201.2 Plumber's Bond

Provisions of Required Bond: Before any permit shall be issued to
any Master Plumber to do plumbing, drainage and gas fitting work in
Baltimore County, he shall be required to give bond to Baltimore County,
Maryland in the amount of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars conditioned
that he shall comply in all respects with each and every provision of these
regulations in regard to said plumbing, drainage and gas fitting work, and
his obligations thereunder, including all laws and ordinances of Baltimore
County and the State of Maryland, and he shall indemnify and save harm-
less Baltimore County, Maryland, its officers and agents, against or from
all cost, expenses, damages, injury or loss to which the said Baltimore
County, its officers and agents may be subjected by reason of any wrong-
doing, misconduct, want of care or skill, negligence, or default on the
part of said Master Plumber, his agents or employees, in or about the
execution or performance of such plumbing, drainage or gas fitting work,
and shall save and keep harmless said Baltimore County, its officers and
agents from all claims or losses to them from any cause whatever in con-
nection with his execution or performance of such plumbing, drainage, or
gas fitting work.

Whenever the sureties on the bond so furnished shall be deemed by
the Chief Engineer of Baltimore County to be insufficient or unsatisfac-
tory, the plumber, after ten (10) days' written notice to that effect, shall
furnish and deliver a new bond to Baltimore County of the same penalty
and on the same conditions, with surety satisfactory to the said Chief
Engineer. If the Master Plumber shall fail to furnish such new bond
within ten (10) days after written notice has been mailed to his address as
registered in the office of said Chief Engineer, the Chief Engineer may
revoke all permits previously issued to him until such bond has been satis-
factorily furnished.
