axle; then binding on lands of the same, Copy Missing° ° °........

11.  North 35 degrees 49 minutes 26 seconds West, 151.96 feet to a
steel pin; then binding on lands of Baumgardner,

12.  North 17 degrees 46 minutes 37 seconds West, 190.00 feet to a steel
pin; then by lands of the same,

13.  South 72 degrees 13 minutes 23 seconds West, 150.00 feet to a
steel pin; then still with the outline of reference deed and binding on lands
of Baumgardner and Wantz,

14.  North 17 degrees 46 minutes 37 seconds West, 250.00 feet to a
steel pin; then

15.  South 72 degrees 13 minutes 28 seconds West, 150.00 feet to a steel
pin, then continuing on the same line South 72 degrees 13 minutes 28
seconds West, 25.00 feet to a point in the center of the Uniontown Road ;
then with the center of said road

railroad spike in the center of said road; then with the center of said road,

point in the center of said road, the place of beginning, containing
88.6541 acres (neat measure), more or less.

Being a part of that land which by deed dated May 7, 1924, was
conveyed by Leah C. Lawyer and Paul E. Lawyer, her husband unto A. W.
Feeser and Company, Inc., and recorded among the Land Records of
Carroll County in Liber E.M.M. Jr. No. 143, folio 471, etc., being more
particularly described in a deed by which said land was conveyed unto
Leah C. Lawyer, formerly Leah C. Feeser, by Charles H. Basehoar dated
March 26, 1918, and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll County
in Liber E.O.C. No. 132, folio 295, etc.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the effec-
tive date of this Resolution all persons who may hereafter reside in the
area annexed, and the property therein, shall become residents of and
property within the City of Taneytown and subject to the provisions of
the Charter of the City of Taneytown and all amendments thereto and
subject to the lawful ordinances thereof.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
and become effective on the forty-sixth day following its final enactment.

INTRODUCED before the Mayor and City Council of Taneytown
this 2nd day of September, 1968.

Resolution of November 25, 1968

Whereas a Petition has been presented to the Mayor and Council of
the City of Taneytown to enlarge the corporate boundaries of said City
by the annexation of a parcel of land contiguous to and adjoining the
existing corporate boundaries of said City; and
