13. N 51 d. 42' 11" W 72.25 feet; thence
14. N 29 d. 46' 42" E 27.84 feet to intersect the south line of the
B & 0 Railroad right of way; thence with the south right of way line
aforesaid the 4 following courses
15. S 52 d. 44' 18" E 232.00 feet; thence
16. S 60 d. 29' 18" E 383.00 feet; thence
17. S 56 d. 15' 18" E 170.00 feet; thence
18. S 10 d. 26' 18" E 40.88 feet to the northwest corner of the A. L.
Devlin tract as recorded in Liber 3060 at Folio 56 among said Land
Records; thence leaving the south right of way line aforesaid and running
with the west line of said Devlin tract the following 5 courses
19. S 10 d. 26' 18" E 1546.17 feet to a fence corner post; thence
20. N 83 d. 51' 38" W 424.60 feet; thence
21. S 55 d. 52' 22" W 320.75 feet; thence
22. S 81 d. 52' 22" W 118.17 feet; thence
23. S 48 d. 22' 22" W 75.78 feet to the place of beginning, containing
37.1125 acres of land.
Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City
Council of Gaithersburg, the date of introduction of this Resolution is the
19th day of February 1968, and shall become effective on the 28th day of
July, 1968, unless a prompt petition for referendum thereon shall be filed
as permitted by law, and provided further that the notice required by law
shall be published in the Gaithersburg Gazette, being a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Gaithersburg, one each in the weeks
of March 7, March 14, March 21 and March 28, 1968. Said notice to provide
for a public hearing to be held on April 15, 1968 at 8:00 P.M. in the
Office of the Mayor and City Council, Civic Center, 31 South Summit
Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Section 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City
Council of Gaithersburg, that as soon as the Resolution hereby enacted
shall become effective either as herein provided, or following a referendum,
the Mayor shall promptly register both the original boundaries and the new
boundaries with the Clerk of the City or similar official thereof, with the
Commissioner of the Land Office, with the Circuit Court for Montgomery
County, and with the Director of the Department of Legislative Reference.
Section 4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City
Council of Gaithersburg, and the persons residing therein, if any, shall,
after the effective date of this Resolution, be subject to all the laws,
ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
