until water or sewer lines are tapped into by the property owner, at which
time taxes shall be levied and all Town services available, and said prop-
erty shall be annexed subject to existing zoning.

The charter amendment enacted by the aforegoing Resolution be-
comes effective on the 2nd day of February, 1969.

Annexation Resolution No. 3

A Resolution of the Commissioners of the Town of Fruitland pro-
posing the annexation to the Town of Fruitland of a certain area of
land situated contiguous to and binding upon the westerly, southerly
and easterly corporate limits of the Town of Fruitland, beginning at
a point in the center of U. S. Route 13 at the northeasterly corporate
limits of the Town of Fruitland; thence running in a northeasterly
direction by and with the center line of U. S. Route 13 to the center of
Cedar Lane; thence running in a southeasterly direction by and with
the center of Cedar Lane to the center of South Division Street; thence
running in a northeasterly direction by and with the center line of
South Division Street to the center of Slab Bridge Road; thence run-
ning in a southeasterly direction by and with the center line of Slab
Bridge Road to the center of the southwest prong of Slab Bridge
Creek; thence running in a southwesterly direction by and with the
center line of the southwest prong of Slab Bridge Creek to the South-
easterly property line of Lloyd T. Brown; thence running in a south-
westerly direction by and with the southeasterly property line of
Lloyd T. Brown to the center of Meadowbridge Road; thence running
in a southwesterly direction on a bearing of the aforesaid southeast-
erly property line of Lloyd T. Brown to the center of a drainage ditch;
thence running by and with the center line of the aforesaid drainage
ditch to the center line of U. S. Route 13; thence running in a north-
easterly direction by and with the center line of U. S. Route 13 to the
point where the present southwesterly corporate limits of the Town
of Fruitland intersect U. S. Route 13; and providing for the condi-
tions and circumstances applicable to the proposed change in the
boundaries of the Town of Fruitland.

Whereas, the Town of Fruitland has received a "Petition for Annexa-
tion" signed by E. Monroe Pollitt and others requesting that the Town of
Fruitland now annex a certain area of land situated contiguous to and
binding upon the westerly, southerly and easterly corporate limits of the
Town of Fruitland, beginning at a point in the center of U. S. Route 13
at the northeasterly corporate limits of the Town of Fruitland; thence
running in a northeasterly direction by and with the center line of U. S.
Route 13 to the center of Cedar Lane; thence running in a southeasterly
direction by and with the center of Cedar Lane to the center of South
