EASTON                                             1935

(N 63°24'15.4" E, 360.0 ft.) to a concrete monument or marker at the
west side of Trippe Avenue, THENCE: (4) Along the westerly side line
of Trippe Avenue in a southerly direction and crossing over Cross Lane
South twenty-six degrees, thirty-five minutes, forty-four and six-tenths
seconds East, one hundred fifty-seven and ninety-five hundredths feet
(S 26°35'44.6" E, 157.95 ft.) to a concrete monument or marker, THENCE:
(5) With the same and continuing South five degrees, sixteen minutes,
forty-four and six-tenths East, one hundred forty-nine and one-hundredth
feet (S 5°16'44.6" E, 149.01 ft.) to a marble monument or marker on the
southerly side line of Hughlett Street, THENCE: (6) North eighty de-
grees, fifty minutes, fifteen and four-tenths seconds East, two hundred
twenty-five and forty-two hundredths feet (N 80°50'15.4" E, 225.42 ft.)
to the Town line monument or marker No. 3 (Annexation 1951) set on the
southerly side line of Dutchman's Lane, THENCE: (7) With the Town
Boundary (Annexation 1951) North twenty-three degrees, sixteen min-
utes fifty-seven and four-tenths seconds West, one thousand three hundred
fifty-nine and no tenths feet (N 23°16'57.4" W, 1359.0 ft.) to the place of
beginning, containing twelve and five hundred twenty-eight thousandths
Acres (12.528 Acres 0.019575 sq. mi.).

The above described tract of land being more particularly shown upon
a map made by the subscriber and entitled: "TOWN OF EASTON,
MARYLAND, PROPOSED ANNEXATION 1968 SOUTH PENNS-
FIELD" (Part of) SCALE 200' to 1", April 1968".

Resolution No. 32

Resolution of the Town of Easton, adopted pursuant to the authority
of Article 11-E of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of
Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1955 Supp.) title
"Corporations—Municipal," subtitle "Home Rule," subheading "Char-
ter Amendments," to add a new section to Article II of the Charter of
the Town of Easton, said section to be numbered Section 17-A, to
spell out the powers of the Town with regard to the establishment,
regulation and change of grade lines, width, construction materials
on any public street or way, curbs, gutters or bridges, the right to
construct, open, extend, straighten, widen, improve, or close any pub-
lic street or way, to pave, surface the same, maintain and repair and
name the same, and to have survey plans, specifications and estimates
made for any of the above activities in connection with public ways,
bridges, curbs and gutters.

Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Town of Easton that Article
II of the Charter of the Town of Easton revised in 1967, is amended by
adding a new section thereto to be numbered Section 17-A, which said
section shall read as follows:

17-A. The town may:

(1)    Establish, regulate, and change from time to time the grade
line
