1934                              MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held
by this body with respect to said proposed annexation, such hearing to be
held in the offices of the Town of Easton at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on June 17,
1968; provided that public notice of such hearing shall first be given pur-
suant to the provisions of Section 19 (d) of said Article 23A, Anno.
Code Md.

AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in the event this Resolu-
tion shall be finally enacted following said Public Hearing, then this Reso-
lution and the Annexation hereby proposed shall become fully effective
forty-five days following such final enactment.

CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that I have surveyed the following described
part of land of "South Pennsfield" outside of the corporate limits of the
Town of Easton, Talbot County, Maryland, controlled by the courses and
distances of the Town Boundaries, established June 1951, February 1961
and December 1966, for the Mayor and Council of Easton for Annexation
Purposes.

(NOTE: The bearings are computed from the angles which have
been observed precisely and are referred to the U.S.C. & G.S. meridian
monuments at the Community Park, Easton, Maryland.)

BEGINNING at the Town Line Monument or marker No. 4 (Annexa-
tion 1951), located on the southerly side line of Peachblossom Road (Md.
Rt. 333), where the same is intersected by Pennsfield Lane, THENCE:
(1) With the southerly side line of Peachblossom Road South thirty-eight
degrees, thirty minutes fifteen and four-tenths seconds West, six hundred
sixty and seventy-nine hundredths feet (S 38°30'15.4" W, 660.79 ft.) to
a lead plug at the southeast corner of the intersection of Peachblossom Road
and Hayward Avenue, (Passing over the town line monument or marker
No. 5 (Annexation 1951) at four hundred sixty-seven and fifty-four hun-
dredths feet—467.54 ft.); THENCE: (2) Along the easterly side line of
Hayward Avenue South twenty-six degrees, thirty-five minutes, forty-four
and six-tenths seconds East, seven hundred fourteen and forty-eight
hundredths feet (S 26°35'44.6" E, 714.48 ft.) to a concrete monument or
marker at the northerly side of Cross Lane; THENCE: (3) Following the
northerly side line of Cross Lane North sixty-three degrees, twenty-four
minutes, fifteen and four-tenths seconds East, three hundred sixty feet
