1968, Chapter 378—Kent County Alcoholic Beverages

I, C. Stanley Blair, Secretary Of State Of The State Of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 23-11 (c)
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition),
Do Hereby Certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1968, an Act known as Chapter 378 of the
Acts of 1968, was submitted to the voters of Kent County under the
provisions of Chapter 378 of the Acts of 1968, said Act being as
follows:

"An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
8(g-l), 9(g-l), 11(i-l), 19 (g), 21 (h) and 101 of Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1967
Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer
Licenses," "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," and "Hours
and Days for Sale," to allow alcoholic beverage licensees in
Kent County with seven-day licenses to sell alcoholic bever-
ages during certain hours on Sunday and to set the fee for
such seven-day licenses and to provide that this Act be sub-
ject to referendum."

and I do certify, that at said election 2,170 votes were cast
in favor of adoption of Chapter 378 of the Acts of 1968, and 2,853
votes were past against adoption of said Chapter 378 of the Acts of
1968, the said Act has therefore failed of ratification.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my official seal at the City of Annapolis

Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 23-11 (c)
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition),
Do Hereby Certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1968, an Act known as Chapter 515 of the
Acts of 1968, was submitted to the voters of the La Vale Sanitary
District of Allegany County, Maryland, under the provisions of Chap-
ter 515 of the Acts of 1968, said Act being as follows:

"An Act to provide for taking at the general election to be held
on November 5, 1968, the sense of the voters of the La Vale
Sanitary District on the question of whether the La Vale
Sanitary Commission should have the public water supply in
the La Vale Sanitary District fluoridated."
