In light of the question over the interpretation of the Bill, I
requested the Attorney General's office to review it. I have been in-
formed by the Attorney General's office that the Bill does permit the
sale of liquor for off premises consumption during the day on Sun-
days in Prince George's County. Since the sponsors of House Bill
916 agreed that if the Bill does this it should be vetoed, I have vetoed
House Bill 916.
