CHAPTER 38
(House Bill 425)

AN ACT to repeal Section 641 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City), subtitle "Harbor, Docks
and Wharves," repealing an obsolete local law of Baltimore City
concerning the public wharves and certain appurtenant structures,
this section being a portion of the so-called Harbor Improvement
Loan of 1910 and being no longer necessary.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 641 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
(1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City), subtitle "Harbor, Docks and Wharves," be and it is
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 39
(House Bill 426)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 776 and 777 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," sub-
title "Waitresses In Places Of Public Amusement," repealing
certain obsolete and unnecessary local laws of Baltimore City
concerning the employment of women or girls in certain theatres
or places of amusement.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 776 and 777 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Balti-
more City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle "Wait-
resses In Places Of Public Amusement," be and the same are hereby
repealed:

It shall not be lawful for any proprietor, lessee or manager of any
theatre, museum or other place of amusement, to employ women or
girls as waiters, or to permit them to act in such theatre or place of
amusement, or among the audience or frequenters of such theatre or
