164                             LAWS OF MARYLAND                       [CH. 25

CHAPTER 24
(House Bill 405)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 334 to 338, inclusive, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Baltimore City," subtitle "Infants in Improper Homes or Care,"
repealing certain obsolete and unnecessary local laws of Baltimore
City concerning the care of infants and the licensing of certain
homes therefor.

Whereas, The provisions of Sections 334 to 338, inclusive, of the
Local Laws of Baltimore City apparently are obsolete and unneces-
sary; and

Whereas, The care of infants seems adequately covered by the
provisions of Sections 76 to 79, inclusive, of Article 11 in the Balti-
more City Code, 1966 Edition; and

Whereas, The Director of the Baltimore City Department of
Health concurs in the repeal of Sections 334 to 338, inclusive, in the
Code of Public Local Laws; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 334 to 338, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle
"Infants in Improper Homes or Care," be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

July 1, 1969.

Approved March 24, 1969.

lic Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore
City," subtitle "Health," subheading "Nuisances," repealing cer-
tain unnecessary laws of Baltimore City relating to paving and the
assessment of costs to property owners.

Whereas, Sections 327 to 333, inclusive, of the Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City which relate to paving and the assessment of costs
to property owners are no longer necessary because these subjects
are covered by ordinances in the City; now, therefore,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 327 to 333, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
