the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore
City," subtitle "Horses, Etc., Livery Stable Charges," repealing
certain local laws of the City of Baltimore concerning the charges
of livery stable keepers and the duties of livery stable keepers
with respect to the keeping of certain animals.
Whereas, Sections 221, 222, and 223 of the 1949 Edition of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City concern livery stable
charges for certain animals; and
Whereas, The repeal of these laws as being obsolete has been
approved by the Commissioner of Police of the City of Baltimore;
now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 221, 222, and 223 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle
"Horses, Etc., Livery Stable Charges," be and they are hereby
repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 339 and 340 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City,"
subtitle "Seats for Female Employees in Stores or Factories," re-
pealing certain obsolete and unnecessary laws of Baltimore City
concerning seats for female employees in certain establishments.
Whereas, The provisions of Sections 339 and 340 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City seem to be unnecessary and
obsolete; and
Whereas, The Director of the Department of Health of Baltimore
City agrees that these sections may be repealed; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 339 and 340 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore City," subtitle "Seats
for Female Employees in Stores or Factories," be and they are hereby
repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.
