16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titles "Prince George's County" and "Montgomery County," sub-
title "Washington Suburban Sanitary District," the new section
to follow Section 83-56 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County and Section 71-1 of the Montgomery County Code,
respectively, adding an area to the Washington Suburban Sani-
tary District upon fulfillment of the condition of an agreement be-
tween the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the
City of Bowie and upon the conditions relative to ad valorem taxes
provided for herein, the additional area being that part of the City
of Bowie in Prince George's County which has not heretofore
been brought into the Sanitary District.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 83-56B of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1963 Edition), and new Section 71-1A of the Montgomery
County Code (1965 Edition), being Articles 17 and 16, respectively,
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County" and "Montgomery County," subtitle "Washington Suburban
Sanitary District," be and they are hereby added, to follow immedi-
ately after Sections 83-56 and 71-1 of the respective Codes, and to
read as follows:

83-56B. (71-1 A).

All the remaining portion and area of the City of Bowie in Prince
George's County which is not now a part of the Washington Sub-
urban Sanitary District shall be added to and be a part of the District
if and when an agreement is reached between the Washington Sub-
urban Sanitary Commission and the City of Bowie with respect to
the Sanitary Commission providing either water, sanitary sewerage
or storm drainage service in the aforementioned portion of the City
of Bowie. The date on which the aforementioned portion of the City
of Bowie is added to and made a part of the Sanitary District shall
be the date of the execution of the agreement as stated therein by
the parties. If and when any such agreement is reached a true copy
thereof shall, within ten days after execution, be transmitted by the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the City of Bowie,
jointly, to the Secretary of State of Maryland and to the Department
of Legislative Reference. No Sanitary District ad valorem tax au-
thorized to be levied under any provision of this subtitle shall be
levied until the agreement, provided for herein, is reached. The
properties within the area which may be added to the Sanitary
District pursuant to the agreement shall not be subject to the direct
ad valorem tax levied upon assessable property for the amortization
of the bonds heretofore issued for the Anacostia River Flood Control
and Navigation Project under Section 83-118 (e) (73-98(e) ) of this
subtitle, but otherwise the jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban
Sanitary Commission and all
