CHAPTER 645
(House Bill 267)

AN ACT to add new Section 9(66) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed
and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(65) thereof to
exempt the Woman's Auxiliary of the Cambridge-Maryland Hos-
pital from assessment and from State, county and city taxation in
this State.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9(66) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1968
Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be
Taxed and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(65) there-
of and to read as follows:

9.

(66) Property, real and personal, owned by the Woman's Auxil-
iary of the Cambridge-Maryland Hospital,
AS OF JULY 1, 1969.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 646
(House Bill 271)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 25 of
Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement
Volume and 1968 Supplement), title "Public Education," subtitle
"Chapter 3. State Board of Education," to exclude certain reha-
bilitation facilities from the necessity of securing a certificate of
approval; to require a performance bond of certain schools; to
provide that the form used by nonpublic schools as enrollment
contracts must be approved by the State Superintendent and that
any note executed in connection therewith be mentioned in the
contract and attached thereto; to provide that a nonpublic school
sales representative or solicitor meet certain standards before
representing himself as a counselor; to provide for identification
cards for sales representatives or solicitors; and to require the
keeping of placement records by certain schools; and correcting
an error therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 25 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supplement), title "Public
Education," subtitle "Chapter 3. State Board of Education," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments to read as
