the Chesapeake Bay to the boundary with Calvert County; thence
westerly along said boundary to the boundary with Prince George's
County; thence northerly along said boundary to its intersection
with the Robert Crain Highway (Route 3); thence northerly along
the Robert Crain Highway (Route 3) to its intersection with Johns
Hopkins Road; thence easterly and northerly along Johns Hopkins
Road to its intersection with St. Stephens Road; thence northerly
from said intersection on a line in prolongation of Bacon Ridge
Branch of South River to said Bacon Ridge Branch of South River;
thence northerly along said branch to Waterbury Road; thence north-
erly along Waterbury Road to its intersection with Indian Landing
Road; thence northerly along Indian Landing Road to its intersec-
tion with Generals Highway (Route 178); thence northerly along
Generals Highway (Route 178) to its intersection with Robert Crain
Highway (Route 3); thence northerly along Robert Crain Highway
(Route 3) to Severn Run; thence southerly along Severn Run and
the Severn River to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay; at the place of
beginning [; less that area located in the City of Annapolis and
comprising its eighth election ward (more particularly described
in the City Code of Annapolis)]. It shall elect one State Senator.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 643
(House Bill 249)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 27-4 (a)
of the Baltimore County Code (1958 Edition), being Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
subtitle "Title 27. Revenue Authority," subheading "Authority—
Powers Generally," to provide the Revenue Authority of Baltimore
County with powers relating to incinerators.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 27-4 (a) of the Baltimore County Code (1958 Edition),
being Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Baltimore County," subtitle "Title 27. Revenue Authority," sub-
heading "Authority—Powers Generally," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

27-4(a).

The authority is created for the purpose of constructing, improv-
ing, equipping, furnishing, maintaining, acquiring and operating the
following projects to be devoted wholly or partially for public uses:
Public buildings for the use of the county, airports and landing
fields; county institutions of every kind and character (heretofore
or hereafter constructed); incinerators, bridges, toll bridges and
tunnels; parks, swimming pools, arenas, stadiums and recreational
facilities of all kinds; dams, impounding basins and flood control
