CHAPTER 642
(House Bill 239)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 46C(c)
and (d) of Article 40 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Supplement), title "General Assembly," subtitle "Subdistricts for
the Senate," to change the eighth election ward in the City of
Annapolis from Senatorial subdistrict No. 6B to Senatorial district
No. 6C in Anne Arundel County and correcting an error therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 46C(c) and (d) of Article 40 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Supplement), title "General Assembly," subtitle
"Subdistricts for the Senate," be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

46C.

(c)    Senatorial subdistrict No. 6B is composed of that area located
in [the City of Annapolis and comprising its eighth election ward
(more particularly described in the City Code of Annapolis) and]
the area within Anne Arundel County within the following bound-
aries: beginning at the boundary of Anne Arundel County with
Baltimore County and AT Old Annapolis Road (Route 648); thence
easterly along said boundary to its intersection with the boundary
of Baltimore City; thence southerly and easterly along said bound-
ary to the waters of the Patapsco River; thence southerly with the
waters of the Patapsco River, and the Chesapeake Bay to the Severn
River; thence northerly and westerly with the Severn River and
Severn Run to New Cut Road; thence northeasterly on New Cut
Road to its intersection with Robert Crain Highway (Route 3);
thence southerly along Robert Crain Highway (Route 3); thence
southerly along Robert Crain Highway (Route 3) to its intersection
with Gerhardt Road; thence easterly along Gerhardt Road to its
intersection with Jumpers Hole Road; thence northerly along
Jumpers Hole Road to its intersection with Governor Ritchie
Highway (Route 2); thence northwesterly along Governor Ritchie
Highway (Route 2); to its intersection with Mountain Road; thence
westerly along Mountain Road to the Baltimore and Annapolis
Railroad right-of-way; thence northerly along the Baltimore and
Annapolis Railroad right-of-way to its intersection with Marley
Station Road; thence northeasterly along Marley Station Road to its
intersection with Old Annapolis Road (Route 648); thence northerly
and westerly from said intersection along Old Annapolis Road (Route
648) to its intersection with Amberly Road; thence westerly along
Amberly Road to its intersection with Governor Ritchie Highway
(Route 2); thence northerly along Governor Ritchie Highway (Route
2) to its intersection with Furnace Branch Road; thence northerly
along Furnace Branch Road to its intersection with Old Annapolis
Road (Route 648); thence northerly along Old Annapolis Road
(Route 648) [;] to its intersection with the boundary of Baltimore
