(House Bill 1052)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 17A (b)
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supple-
ment), title "Corporations—Municipal," subtitle "Home Rule,"
subheading "Charter Amendments," amending the laws con-
cerning the distribution of copies of amendments to the charters
of municipal corporations in order to remove the requirement
for distribution to the members of the legislative delegation
of the particular county.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 17A(b) of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Supplement), title "Corporations—Municipal,"
subtitle "Home Rule," subheading "Charter Amendments," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
17A.
(b) Copies of this compilation shall be made available for in-
spection at the office of the mayor and town council, by whatever
name known, during normal business hours; and copies shall be
kept on permanent record in the same office. Copies also shall be
furnished to the Hall of Records Commission [,] and to the State
Library [, and to each member of the legislative delegation of the
county]. The foregoing copies shall be furnished without charge,
and the county also may make other copies available at a reason-
able cost to any person.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 542 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supplement),
title "Health," subtitle "Cosmetologists," providing a specific daily
salary for CHANGING THE COMPENSATION OF THE inspec-
tors of the State Board of Cosmetologists.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 542 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Supplement), title "Health," subtitle "Cosmetologists," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
