(7) The serial number of the certificate of registration issued
to the applicant.
(8) Such other pertinent information as deemed necessary by
the Board.
(b) The Board shall maintain a current registry of all Registered
Sanitarians and registered Sanitarians-in-training in the State of
Maryland.
733.
(a) The Board may reprimand, suspend, revoke, or refuse to
renew the certificate of registration of any registrant who is found
to have practiced fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation in obtaining a
certificate of registration, or who has knowingly violated any provi-
sion of this subtitle, or who has committed any gross negligence,
incompetence, or misconduct in the practice of sanitation.
(b) Any person, including an employee of the Board, may prefer
charges of fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, gross negligence, in-
competence, conduct MISCONDUCT, or other act or omission pro-
vided in subsection (a) of this Section against any registrant. These
charges shall be specific and in writing, shall be sworn to by the person
or persons making them, and shall be filed with the Secretary of the
Board.
(c) All charges not dismissed by the Board shall be set for hear-
ing in accord with rules and regulations adopted by the Board.
Hearings shall be held within a reasonable time, not to exceed six
months after charges have been preferred.
(d) The time and place for the hearing shall be fixed by the
Board, and a copy of the charges, together with a notice of the time
and place of hearing, shall be served personally on the registrant
or mailed SENT BY CERTIFIED MAIL to the last known address
of the registrant at least thirty (30) days before the date fixed for
the hearing. At any hearing, the accused registrant shall have the
right to appear in person or to be represented by counsel, or both to
cross-examine witnesses appearing against him, and to produce evi-
dence and witnesses in his own defense. If the accused person fails
or refuses to appear, the Board may hear and determine the validity of
the charges.
(e) If, after a hearing, a majority of the entire Board votes in
favor of sustaining the charges, the Board may reprimand the
registrant, or suspend, refuse to renew, or revoke the registrant's
certificate of registration.
(f) The Board may reissue a certificate of registration to any
person whose certificate has been revoked, provided that a majority
of the entire Board votes in favor of such reissuance.
(g) Any person aggrieved by a final decision of the Board may
appeal to the Circuit Court of Baltimore City or the Circuit Court of
the County in which he resides or has his principal place of business.
All appeals shall be governed by Section 255 of Article 41 of this Code,
as amended from time to time.
(h) A new certificate of registration may be issued, to replace
any certificate which has been revoked, lost, destroyed or mutilated
subject to the rules adopted by the Board and upon payment of a fee
not to exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
