(1) Graduation from an accredited college or university with a
baccalaureate degree in Environmental Science or Natural Sciences,
or the completion of thirty (30) acceptable semester credit hours in
Natural Sciences and the passing of a written examination in the
basic sciences related to environmental health; or
(2) Graduation from an accredited college or university with a
baccalaureate degree in some field other than Environmental Science
or Natural Sciences and a record of at least four (4) years of
experience in the field of environmental sanitation and the success-
ful completion of a written examination in the basic sciences relating
to environmental health.

(a) Examinations for registration as a Registered Sanitarian
shall be administered not less than once each year at a time and
place to be specified by the Board. The examinations may be written,
oral, or both, and shall include applicable subjects in the field of
sanitary science and such other subjects pertinent to the qualifica-
tions of Sanitarians as the Board prescribes. The examination shall
be objective and practical in character. The examination papers
shall not disclose the name of any applicant but shall be identified
by a number assigned by the Secretary of the Board. The preparation
of the examination shall be the responsibility of the Board, and the
Board may use professional examination prepared by recognized
examination agencies. The examination records shall be filed with
the Secretary of the Board and retained at least one (1) year.
(b) Only persons satisfying the provisions of Section 727 of this
subtitle shall be examined for registration as a Registered Sanitarian.
(c) The Board shall specify minimum examination grade re-
quirements, and no person shall be registered who fails to meet these
requirements.
(d) Any person may be re-examined upon resubmitting an
application and the prescribed examination fee. The time and place
of the re-examination shall be set by the Board.

shall be administered not less than once each year at a time and place
to be specified by the Board. The examinations may be written, oral,
or both, and shall include applicable subjects in the field of sanitary
science and such other subjects pertinent to the qualifications of
Sanitarians as the Board may prescribe. The examination shall be
objective and practical in character. The examination papers shall
not disclose the name of any applicant but shall be identified by a
number assigned by the Secretary of the Board. The preparation
of the examination shall be the responsibility of the Board, and the
Board may use professional examinations prepared by recognized
examination agencies. The examination records shall be filed with
Secretary of the Board and retained at least one (1) year.
